50th Anniversary at Davios in Philadelphia – Bob and Barbara

Bob and Barbara had their 50th Anniversary party at Davio’s in Philadelphia last week and I had the pleasure of being their photographer.  It was a really fun event to witness.  You could really tell how happy and honored their friends and family were to be there celebrating with them.  I got to hear fun stories, a personalized song, and even got to watch the guests of honor tear up the dance floor a bit.  Even after 50 years… there was no slowing them down!  It was really nice to see a couple so happy together after all that time.  Here are a few shots from the night.

Priya’s Med-School Graduation Party – Philadelphia, PA

A few years ago I had the pleasure of photographing a 30th birthday party for Priya in Philadelphia, and a few days ago she brought me back to photograph her Med School graduation party.  What an accomplishment!  Definitely a big day to celebrate!  This shoot was just as much fun as the last time I shot for her.  Priya and her friends and family are a lot of fun to work with as they make me feel like more of a guest than a photographer… and that in turn makes it even easier to get great pictures.  She also told me that the blog post after her last event was one of her favorite parts of my last photo shoot with her… I’ve I’ve definitely been slacking a little bit on the blog posts lately, but I promised I’d post one from this event, so here it is.  And I’m going to make a much more concentrated effort to be better about posts moving forward.  Thanks for the kick Priya, I needed it!

Birthday Party in Edison, NJ

I was recently out at Akbar, an Indian Restaurant in Edison NJ, to photograph a 1st birthday party.  It was one of the first days of perfect weather this spring so I was very excited to be able to shoot in a place that had a ton of natural light, and also had access to a huge outside area, where everyone spent a lot of time.  Not only were all of the guests a pleasure to hang out with, but Krish, the birthday boy, was quick to smile and clearly had a great time.  Here are a few shots from the party.

Australian Wedding in New York City

Last week I worked with a couple, Susan and Simon, who came in all the way from Melbourne Australia to get married in New York City.  It was just the two of them at the actual wedding, but the party was waiting back at home to help them celebrate!  Sometimes I think that’s the best way to do it… keep the wedding simple, and then have a huge party later on!  The ceremony was short and sweet, and then we explored NYC making sure to properly document their day.  Here are a few highlights.

Birthday party in Hoboken

I recently had the pleasure of photographing the first birthday party for a beautiful girl named Saachi, right here in Hoboken.  The event took place right on the Hudson, with an amazing view overlooking NYC.  It may not have been the best weather that day, but it didn’t seem to dampen anyone’s fun as everyone really seemed to have a great time!  Here are a few pictures of the day.
